On February 27, the State Press and Publication Administration released a new batch of domestic game version numbers, marking the third batch of version numbers issued in 2024 and the second batch of domestic game version numbers issued this year. A total of 111 games in this February batch received version numbers, closely aligning with the 115 domestic games with version numbers in January.

The approval of version numbers for these games reflects the authorities’ focus on supporting and promoting the online gaming industry’s growth and well-being. Among the 111 licensed games, there are 108 mobile games, 10 PC client games, 1 console game, and 6 multi-platform games.

One of the significant highlights of this batch is the approval of the highly anticipated “Black Myth: Wukong”, known as the “first domestic 3A” game. Scheduled for release on August 20, 2024, the game has garnered immense popularity and attention since its announcement.

Other notable games that received version numbers include NetEase’s “Operation Apocalypse” and “Eternal Tribulation Mobile Game”, Perfect World‘s “Perfect New World“, and Zhongqingbao’s “After Graduation” and “Jiuzhou Yuanyi Song”, among others.

“Infinite Warmth” by Paper Folding and NetEase’s “Eternal Tribulation Mobile Game” are also expected to make waves in the gaming industry with their unique gameplay and engaging features.

The continuous issuance of version numbers and approval of new games demonstrate the steady growth and development of the domestic gaming industry. Fans and players can anticipate exciting new releases and updates in the near future.
