The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the 2021 China Top 500 Private Enterprises List in Changsha City, Hunan Province on the 25th. Huawei Investment & Holding Co., Ltd., JD Group, and Hengli Group Co., Ltd. are among the top three, and the top five private enterprises have annual operating revenues of more than 600 billion yuan.

According to Huang Rong, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, from the perspective of operating income, the top 500 private enterprises have a threshold of 23.501 billion yuan, an increase of 3.297 billion yuan over the previous year; the top 500 manufacturing private enterprises have a threshold of 10.051 billion yuan, which is higher than the previous year. The annual increase was 1.133 billion yuan; the entry threshold for the top 100 private enterprises in the service industry reached 32.276 billion yuan, an increase of 3.325 billion yuan over the previous year.

Among them, Huawei Investment Holding Co., Ltd. has ranked first among the top 500 residential enterprises and top 500 private manufacturing enterprises with an operating income scale of 891.368 billion yuan for 6 consecutive years; Jingdong Group ranks first among the top 100 private enterprises in the service industry.

The data shows that a number of overall indicators of private enterprises on the list continue to improve, showing the vigorous vitality of the private economy. In 2020, the total operating income of the top 500 private enterprises was 35.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 16.39%; the total tax payment reached 1.36 trillion yuan, accounting for 8.84% of the total national tax revenue; the total number of employees was 11.0911 million, an increase of 6.26%, accounting for the total number of employees in the country 1.48%.

It is understood that this year is the 23rd large-scale private enterprise survey organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. A total of 5,785 companies with annual operating income of more than 500 million yuan participated.
