First of all, in appearance, the bold and heroic color scheme has always been the label of Maybach. This Maybach EQS SUV concept car is no exception. The two-color body design of obsidian + zircon red is still eye-catching and devastating. And the super retro design of the 24-inch solid electroplated wheels matches the futuristic shape so wonderfully.
Thanks to the latest lighting technology, the lamp design of the Maybach EQS SUV concept car can be as blue as possible. The slender headlights don’t seem to be any bright spots, but at close range you will find countless Maybach brand logos embellished. This headlight is not only outstanding in technological configuration, but also outstanding in design.
Electric cars do not need air intake grilles. But for Maybach, the air intake grille is no longer an accessory for the car, but an indivisible design. On the Maybach EQS SUV concept car, you can see that it uses a fully-enclosed mid-grid, with the English name in the center and the Mercedes-Benz logo. The legendary color continues to burst into life in this new era of electric vehicles.
For a Maybach, the design of this tail makes me feel a bit “rebellious”. The rear center console is decorated with white piano lacquer and rose gold trim, and other areas are laid out in deep sea blue, highlighting the properties of new energy. Officials said that the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will be officially put into production in 2022, and the Maybach EQS SUV will be launched after the regular version. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a combined maximum power of more than 385kW and a peak torque of more than 828Nm. The WLTP cruising range of this car is expected to be around 600km.
