Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala and French investment bank Bpifrance will invest in technology investment firm Partech’s latest Africa-focused venture capital fund. According to a note, Partech Africa II is the largest venture capital fund dedicated to technology startups in Africa, which has reached €280 million in maximum fundraising.

As the Emirati newspaper The National highlights, this is the first joint investment by Mubadala and Bpifrance through the €350 million co-investment partnership in Africa, announced in June 2021.
