Very positive picture for the development of the AIM Italia market, which from 25 October will take the name of Euronext Growth Milan (“EGM”) in light of the integration of Borsa Italiana with Euronext, the main pan-European market infrastructure that manages regulated stock exchanges in Amsterdam , Brussels, Dublin, Paris, Milan, Oslo and Lisbon. According to the AIM Observatory of IR Top Consulting, in the first 9 months of the year 22 companies landed on the market, of which 20 Ipo and 2 Spac, with a total IPO collection of 548 million euros and an average free float of 27% . The new IPOs recorded an average demand 3.9 times higher than the offer.

“The growth in the expected number of IPOs for the next few months represents a further confirmation of the relevance of our market dedicated to SMEs that we believe should continue to incentivize in listing with the tax credit on costs related to the extraordinary finance operation”, commented Anna Lambiase, CEO & Founder of IR Top Consulting.

Not only. In 2021, the AIM Italia market also confirmed its ability to bring growth to the MTA market, with 3 transfers to the Star Segment for a total capitalization, at the transition date, of 1.3 billion euros.

The AIM Italia price list confirmed its strong growth also from the performance point of view: the FTSE AIM Italia in the first 9 months recorded a + 43% outperforming all the MTA market indices (FTSE SMALL CAP + 34% and FTSE MIB + 15%).
