Air France, a new design lounge at Paris-CdG

by admin

At Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, Air France has inaugurated a new lounge in terminal 2F, the one for Schengen passengers from which flights to Italy depart. Dedicated to Business customers and Flying Blue Elite Plus members traveling on Air France’s short and medium-haul Schengen network, this lounge has an area of 3,000 m² and 570 seats spread over two levels.

In collaboration with the teams of Air France and the ADP group, the entire space and most of the furniture was designed by the Jouin Manku agency, founded by Canadian architect Sanjit Manku and French designer Patrick Jouin.

After crossing a walkway designed as a passage atrium, the airline’s customers are greeted by the Air France teams at the entrance to the lounge. To ensure smoothness, totems allow passengers to scan their boarding pass and directly access the lounge. There is also a space for luggage storage and a window displaying Air France Shopping travel accessories. In the heart of the lounge, a sweeping view of the runway opens up. The wine list, chosen by Paolo Basso, best sommelier in the world in 2013, offers a wide selection of wines and champagnes.
