Nathan Turner and his wife rent out homes on Airbnb for a living.
Turner was fired from his employer at the beginning of the corona pandemic and then built a new future on Airbnb.
The host shares three tools that help him and his wife work just 10-15 hours a week.
In the past, Nathan Turner traded a lot of time for a sub-par Salary a. “After taxes and all, I could only bring home maybe $600 a week,” the former delivery driver told Business Insider. “If I worked overtime, I could make home $700 to $800 a week, but that was after 50 hours of work.” As the Corona-pandemics broke out in March 2020, Turner was immediately fired.
After losing his job, he pondered his next steps. Rather than seek out another nine-to-five job, Turner decided to try real estate investing. He focused on rental arbitrage, a strategy where you rent a property and advertise it on platforms like Airbnb sublet. The goal is to generate enough rental income in the short term to not only cover the rent, but also make extra money every month.
