Milan, the city that saw the birth of the Biscione house in 1910, is also the name of the first (also) electric B-suv which will be officially presented on April 10th, during the design week.

From the name it is clear that the DNA of the model is intended to be emphasised, although from the first rumours, the reactions were not as hoped for: from the no longer local production, to the raised bodywork to the use of components shared by the Stellantis group.

From sedans to SUVs

Let’s get to know Alfa Romeo Milano starting from the doubts that emerged on social networks. The spy photos of Alfa Romeo Milano were the first input to discover some more details on the new (also) electric b-suv.

First of all, production: Alfa Romeo Milano will be produced in Poland, at the Tychy plant, a hard blow for those who still imagine Alfa Romeo as a 100% Italian brand. Moreover, it must be said that no one questions whether the Audi A1 is German even if it is produced in Martorell, near Barcelona.

Furthermore, the glorious past of the Alfa Romeo brand is based on the production of sedans and, consequently, today Alfa Romeo purists prefer a low three-volume car to an SUV. But it is precisely the market that is increasingly demanding SUVs and the home of the Stellantis group cannot avoid following the trend. But purists remain in love with the Giulia, perhaps with the red Alfa Romeo. But then they sell, and also well, Stelvio and Tonale.
