Allocated 7 billion of the new 30-year BTP

The issue of the first tranche of the new 30-year BTP saw the allocation of 7 billion euros. The bond was placed at a price of 99.987 corresponding to an annual gross yield at issue of 2.162%.

The bond matures on September 1, 2052, with dividend rights on January 12, 2022 and an annual rate of 2.15%, paid in two half-yearly coupons. The settlement of the transaction is set for 12 January.

The placement was carried out through a syndicate consisting of five lead managers, Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank AG, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA and JP Morgan AG, and the remaining Specialists in Italian government bonds invited to participate as co- lead manager.
