An online food academy is born – Sicily

by admin

ROME (ITALPRESS) – An online Academy dedicated to the training of new professionals in the agri-food sector. This is the objective of the agreement between the Pegaso Telematic University and the Italian Cia-Agricoltori, signed at the national headquarters of the Universitas Mercatorum. The partnership provides for the planning of advanced training and specialist updating activities, aimed at creating ad hoc professional figures, in order to facilitate direct access to the world of agricultural work. 2020 brought many young people closer to rural businesses and thanks to this agreement CIA wants to increase the current trend, promoting the protection of agricultural work as a primary element for sustenance and general well-being, as well as a suitable element to improve competitiveness on farms, through the requalification, training and participatory involvement of operators in the sector. Through the direction of a technical-scientific committee that will identify the new training and organizational needs of agricultural entrepreneurs, the Academy will provide educational paths with legal value, which can be used in terms of recognition of University Training Credits (CFU) and as a professional update. Internships and internships will also be activated thanks to agreements with companies, institutions, public and private bodies operating in the primary sector, aimed at entering the world of work, as well as the acquisition of certified practical experiences to enrich one’s personal curriculum.
