Apple is taking additional steps with iOS and iPadOS 16 to encourage those testing the latest software to submit bugs and issues they encounter so they can be fixed before the software’s release this fall.

Apple released iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS Ventura this week, and these major system updates will not be widely available to users until the fall. Until then, members of the Apple Developer Program will test the new system on devices. The test is designed to help developers update their apps and allow Apple to receive feedback on updates.
