Apple renews its partnership with Young Publishers in the battle against fake news

With an official press release from Cupertino, Apple today announced the renewal of the international strategic partnership with the Osservatorio Permanente Giovani Editori. The objective of the partnership is to develop, through an innovative technology-media literacy project, to be carried out in the world of education, at an international level, that critical awareness that makes man freer.

The partnership signed in 2019 between Apple CEO Tim Cook and Andrea Ceccherini, the president of the Permanent Young Editors Observatory, is thus renewed, consolidated and expanded internationally.

In the era also marked by the spread of fake news, post truth and true-similarities, the common challenge of Apple and the Osservatorio Permanente Giovani Editori is to train, in the youngest, that critical thinking that allows them to dribble attempts to misinformation, helping to make them more capable of using their heads.
