Aprilia has updated its RS 125 and Tuono 125, bringing Euro 5 homologation and modifying the style to make them resemble their respective 660 models. The two 125cc versions are designed for young riders with a European A2 license.

The front design of the Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 is inspired by that of the brand new RS 660 and Tuono 660, emphasized by the iconic arrangement of the triple headlights. The lighting system on both bikes is fully LED, with the front turn signals integrated into the headlights.

The dimensions of the front section of the Tuono 125 have been completely redesigned to make it more compact, while maintaining the wind protection typical of all Tuono versions. Both models feature new LC instrumentation with extensive driving information (including fuel gauge, current and average fuel consumption and range remaining).

The instrument panel is backlit in two colors (white or light blue) and is ready for installation on the Aprilia MIA multimedia platform Aprilia RS 125 and Tuono 125 are also characterized by the new two-channel ABS, developed in collaboration with Bosch and equipped with rollover in case of emergency braking. Stability and cornering grip should increase thanks to the new Michelin tires, now widened to 140 mm at the rear. The aluminum frame of the RS 125 is now painted black, as are the engine, footpegs and fork bridge on both models. The upside-down fork and monoshock mounted on the asymmetrical swingarm complete the package.

The braking system is based on a radial brake caliper, which grips a 300mm steel disc. With a 14.5-liter fuel tank, the RS 125 and Tuono 125 are at the top end of the class, a more spacious compartment under the saddle large enough to accommodate an 8-inch tablet (with an optional USB charging port). Furthermore, they are the only 125 with optional quick change.
