Askoll adds the new XKP 80 model to its range of electric scooters, designed to meet the needs of those who have to move within cities, perhaps coming from small towns in the hinterland, and want a vehicle with good autonomy. In fact, the newcomer from the Vicenza company immediately stands out for the new electric engine with which it is equipped, which reaches a power of 4.1 kW, which in turn is powered by a pair of batteries of 1.7 kW each which They take 6 hours to fully charge. These batteries allow a range of 101 km, while to tackle extra-urban roads with complete peace of mind Askoll has equipped the XKP 80 with a button on the handlebar called “boost” which activates a special driving mode. As the name suggests, activation increases performance and it is possible to reach a maximum speed of 80 km/h for a certain period of time, i.e. when it is necessary to be more agile and faster on extra-urban roads.

Safety while driving is guaranteed by a combined CBS braking system that acts on the two discs, 220 mm at the front and 190 mm at the rear. To tackle even the most bumpy roads, it mounts 16-inch wheels: specifically we find a 90/80 tire in the front area and a 110/70 in the rear.

The lighting of the road surface, but also to be clearly visible from other vehicles on the road, is guaranteed by LED lights, while there is also an LCD digital display which offers the most relevant information on the status of the scooter, including the autonomy residual.
