Assets under management: net inflows in the first quarter of + € 10.9 billion

The net inflows of the asset management industry in the 1st quarter was revised upwards and stood at +10.9 billion euros.
Thus reveals Assogestioni according to which the assets managed at the end of March 2022 amounted to 2,486 billion, with the share of the masses invested in collective management which accounts for 52.4% of the total.

The quarterly reading, we read in a note, confirms the solid contribution of open-end funds – growing for two consecutive years – which contributed for 12.8 billion, making it possible to offset some intra-group transactions within the institutional mandates, which took place in the period . At the macro-category level, savers reiterated their preference in particular for equity products (+9.4 billion) and balanced products (+5.2 billion). Positive signs from the Individual Savings Plans: ordinary PIR funds recorded net subscriptions of 160 million and closed the 1st quarter of 2022 with assets of 19.8 billion. As of March 31, Assogestioni registered 16 alternative Pir products for a capital endowment of 1.82 billion.
