The incentives for the scrapping of old cars are released in exchange for the purchase of a used car with low emissions, not lower than the “euro 6” class. This was announced by the Ministry of Development in a note. From 10 am on Tuesday 28 September, dealers will be able to access the ecobonus.mise.gov.it platform to enter reservations for incentives for the purchase of low-emission used M1 vehicles. For the new incentive, which varies from 750 euros to 2,000 euros depending on the emissions of the used vehicle purchased, 40 million euros of funds are made available.
To get the Ecobonus you will need to take into account some stakes. The purchase must relate to a used vehicle of the euro class of no less than 6, with a price resulting from the average market prices not exceeding 25,000 euro and with emissions between 0-160 g / km CO2. The contribution is recognized only with scrapping and differs according to the emission range of the used vehicle that is purchased: 2 thousand euros for 0-60; one thousand euros for 61-90; 750 euros for 91-160. The scrapped vehicle must be of the same category as the one purchased, registered for at least 10 years and in the name of the buyer or a cohabiting family member for at least 12 months.
