“Starting from November 1, the basic cost of testing at the offices of the Motorization will increase from 45 euros to 54.90 euros, with a + 22% increase in the rate – explains the president Carlo Rienzi – If the overhaul is done in an authorized garage, the cost goes from 66.88 euros to 79.02 euros (therefore 12.14 euros more). This is due to an inter-ministerial decree signed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, which adds to the expenses for the management of vehicles for families, already exhausted by the relentless rush of petrol and diesel prices. “.
“Once again, Italian motorists are used as ATMs by the Government, through an increase in taxes on cars, and instead of reducing taxation to alleviate the effects of expensive gasoline, it was decided to increase the rate by 22% of the car review ”, concludes Rienzi.
