Autostrade, plan for 2,900 new hires

by admin

Three years of hiring. This is assured by the CEO of Autostrade which launches a three-year plan to create 2900 jobs. Engineers, technicians, researchers and more. Innovative profiles, people who “are architects of change and who, with a sense of responsibility, accompany the company in its path of renewal”. Roberto Tomasi, the manager of Aspi thinks about the future of professions and new skills to meet the needs of the contemporary world. Thus, he describes the actions taken as part of the transformation plan launched within the company – an industrial plan worth 21.5 billion euros between investments and modernization of the motorway network – Tomasi went straight to the question: “We have to invest a lot in order to rely on decision-making capacity for young people, we must give them the opportunity to test themselves ».

Autostrade per l’Italia, the CEO continued, “is one of the most complex networks in the world: in terms of the number of tunnels we are second only to China and we are in one of the most complex areas without a doubt”. This is why it is necessary “to invest in new technologies and this is why our ASPI digitization project is worth 100 million euros: it will take two years to be able to put it to full use”. But in addition to technologies, adds Tomasi, “it is people who change a company”. And the people of Autostrade per l’Italia “will necessarily have to change their profession to cope with technological change”. Today more than ever “it is necessary to cultivate people’s skills to support the professions of the present and build those of the future, also through joint work with the main universities in our country”. Because “knowledge is the strategic factor of development”. And this is the meaning of the Autostrade Corporate University.
