They are not exactly giants with feet of clay. America’s Big Tech elite – Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon and Facebook, powered by Tesla and Netflix – amassed a $ 75 billion treasure trove of profits between July and September. But between the lines of the accounts (Apple, Microsoft and Alphabet have exceeded or touched 20 billion in quarterly profits) the challenges created by economic tensions and uncertainties surfaced. And, at times, the strategic questions after so much growth.
