BMW has unveiled Concept XM, a high-performance plug-in hybrid SUV that prefigures the first car with phev engine of the “M” division which, specializing in high-performance cars, is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year . The new Concept XM, in fact, anticipates the new standard high-wheeled flagship that will go on sale at the end of 2022.
Its numbers stand out: 750 hp of maximum power and 1,000 Nm of torque. The powertrain includes a V8 petrol engine combined with a plug-in electric unit powered by a battery capable of guaranteeing up to 80 km of electric range. Numbers that nominate the XM to become the most powerful BMW signed M ever.
The style debuts a new interpretation of the famous double kidney grille (and this will generate discussions among fans of the brand). On board, on the other hand, the Curved Display appears, an innovative user interface that, specifically designed for the Concept and destined for future BMW M models arriving in the coming years.
