In close cooperation with BMW M GmbH, BMW Motorsport engineers used many of the insights resulting from the development of the BMW M4 Gt4 to set totally new standards in the lower category with the BMW M2 CS Racing. The driving aids specific to competitions, like the Abs and the DSC, guarantee that the novice pilots are able to handle the car safely. Consequently, the Bmw M2 Cs Racing turns out to be the best entry solution into the world of competitions.
The Bmw M2 Cs Racing participating in the Bmw M2 CS Racing Cup Italy is powered by a six-cylinder in-line engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology which, with a displacement of 2,979 cc in the racing version, reaches a power of 450 hp. The maximum torque of 550 Nm is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, specially configured for competitions.

Technical partner of the championship will be Michelin, official supplier of the Bmw M2 Cs Racing Cup Italy with Michelin Slick 27 / 65-18 S9L tires, specially designed to offer great consistency in performance and absolute reliability in performance. The assistance service on the track during the race weekends will be entrusted to Michelin’s consolidated experience in motorsport and will employ specially trained technicians to best meet the racing needs.
