Borgosesia announced that it has reached an agreement with the Tomasoni family, owner of the Colombera Golf Resort, to support them, as part of an articulated financial restructuring process, in the enhancement of the complex and the areas pertaining to it. The Resort, inaugurated in 2007 in Castrezzato in Franciacorta in the province of Brescia on an area of 300,000 square meters, already has inside, in a context of rare naturalistic beauty, a restaurant, known for celebrating major events and weddings, a riding school, 11 apartments, a villa and a golf course.
“The objective of Borgosesia is therefore to proceed with the enhancement of the complex and the areas pertaining to it, evaluating in this context the completion of the real estate development for residential and hospitality use on the areas still to be developed”, reads a note. The purchase of mortgage loans, including those of the Colombera Golf Resort, as a whole required an investment of 4.2 million, against a nominal amount of 9.6 million, amounts including the first investment of the Group’s Alternatives division in large corporate loans, ie loans of a significant unit amount whose recovery is based on the enforcement of only the real and personal guarantees that assist them.
