Laura Schick was 23 years old when she bought her first property – without ever having visited it. In the Money Mindset podcast, Schick explains that the tenant at the time did not allow her to view the property. But Schick took the risk and bought the one-room apartment in Berlin for 53,000 euros. Even today, around ten years later, she is happy about the monthly rental income. According to them, the property is worth around three times as much today.

She now owns several apartments and an apartment building. Schick works as a real estate agent, investor and author (“Blondes can do everything. Except money”).

According to Schick, anyone who wants to buy a property today needs above all sufficient equity. “It may be that the first property will be a little smaller or it will be in a stable and attractive B-city.” From her day-to-day mediation work, she can report that today “more than ever” they have to bring buyers and sellers together. The motto is: negotiate.

In the latest podcast episode Money Mindset, she talks to our editor and podcast host Leo Ginsburg about how to negotiate properly, how she invests herself and how you can start investing in real estate. Listen to the episode and get more for your money!
