Broadcom buys VMware, deal from 61 mld$

M&A heats up in the American tech world, with the Broadcom-VMware operation. After the recent rumors came the formalization that Broadcom will take over VMware (cloud computing company) for an amount equal to about 61 billion dollars in a cash and stock transaction. Additionally, Broadcom will take over $ 8 billion of VMware’s net debt. The closing of the transaction is expected by Broadcom’s fiscal year 2023.
