Data show that in the second quarter of 2021, my country’s current account surplus was 344.7 billion yuan; capital and financial accounts had a surplus of 84.8 billion yuan, of which non-reserve financial accounts had a surplus of 407 billion yuan, and reserve assets increased by 322.4 billion yuan.

In the first half of 2021, my country’s current account has a surplus of 795 billion yuan; capital and financial accounts have a deficit of 366 billion yuan, of which non-reserve financial accounts have a surplus of 183.5 billion yuan, and reserve assets have increased by 549.3 billion yuan.

In terms of SDR, in the second quarter of 2021, my country’s current account surplus was 37.2 billion SDR; capital and financial account surplus was 9.3 billion SDR, of which non-reserve financial accounts had a surplus of 44.1 billion SDR, and reserve assets increased by 34.8 billion SDR.

In terms of SDR, in the first half of 2021, my country’s current account surplus was 85.5 billion SDR; capital and financial accounts had a deficit of 39.1 billion SDR, of which non-reserve financial accounts had a surplus of 20.1 billion SDR, and reserve assets increased by 59.2 billion SDR.

In US dollar terms, in the second quarter of 2021, my country’s current account surplus was US$53.3 billion, of which the goods trade surplus was US$119.5 billion, the service trade deficit was US$28.3 billion, the primary income deficit was US$42.2 billion, and the secondary income surplus was US$4.4 billion. The capital and financial account had a surplus of US$13.3 billion, of which the capital account had a surplus of US$30 million, the non-reserve financial account had a surplus of US$63.3 billion, and reserve assets increased by US$50 billion.

In dollar terms, in the first half of 2021, my country’s current account surplus was 122.7 billion US dollars, of which, the goods trade surplus was 238.2 billion US dollars, the service trade deficit was 50.5 billion US dollars, the primary income deficit was 71.6 billion US dollars, and the secondary income surplus was 6.7 billion US dollars.
