Business culture 2022, the North East area project is underway

Not a city, as it was in the past with Genoa and Alba. But a territory, which involves four: Padua, Treviso, Venice and Rovigo. The “Italian capital of business culture” 2022 is a widespread area that expresses shared values, entrepreneurial chains, ancient vocations that have become world production primates. There are already 70 events scheduled for this initiative, promoted by Confindustria with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, and were presented yesterday at a press conference in Treviso. The title of “Italian Capital of Corporate Culture 2022” was assigned to the unitary project of Assindustria Venetocentro and Confindustria Venezia-Rovigo on 6 November last year, in Alba (Capital for 2021).

Recognition earned in the field

For the first time, the unprecedented configuration of a territory wins, a recognition earned in the field, made up of years of industrial history made up of small and medium-sized enterprises that have become multinationals, large companies and made in Italy supply chains. Evolution that has led to a single area for economic and social indices, with an aggregate GDP of 86 billion (29,900 euros per capita GDP 2019), over 30 billion exports, (8.7 billion commercial assets), 325,000 active companies (5.1% of the national total), an unemployment rate of 5.9 (Italy is 9.2). But also of 20 companies that have invested in green technologies and products, 760 innovative start-ups, a social economy that places Veneto at the national top (31 thousand organizations in the Third Sector). The primates to tell

Primates which are joined by as many as 44 museums and business archives. Telling all this is the goal of the Padua Treviso Venezia Rovigo project, as the presidents, Leopoldo Destro, Assindustria Venetocentro, Vincenzo Marinese, Confindustria Venezia-Rovigo, explained yesterday in the press conference in which Maria Cristina Piovesana, vice president also spoke. of Confindustria for the Environment, Sustainability and Culture, Antonio Alunni, president of the Confindustria Technical Culture Group (in connection) and Daniele Marini, University of Padua, scientific manager of the project. «It will be a unique opportunity to tell, especially to young people, the business culture, which for us is innovation. Here the ability to do industry is strongly rooted, competitive on a global scale integrated into the community, and this is a shared and distinctive value », were the words of Destro.

A bridge between today and tomorrow

“During this year we will talk about many company experiences, we will talk about work, we will address young people and we will hear their voices. We are the bridge between today and tomorrow, we have a great responsibility, to hand over the future to the new generations. And therefore the task of transmitting the vocation to undertake that has made the North East a model of development awaits us », is the comment of Marinese. “TerritorImprese” is the slogan chosen for the project, an open schedule that will evolve over the course of the year, thanks also to the collaboration between public and private regions (President Luca Zaia sent a letter yesterday), local authorities, chambers of commerce, universities, business museums, theaters. The main events include the Confindustria Small Industry Forum in Padua in autumn, while the official opening event will be held in Venice in spring, with the title “TerritorImprese”. “The protagonist of this year, the eastern Veneto, is an area that has always been appreciated for its economic stature, capable of bringing knowledge and know-how into a system in a creative and innovative way, enhancing traditional sectors while respecting environmental sustainability” Piovesana said. “Padua, Treviso, Venice and Rovigo – underlined Alunni – will make the various souls of the territory protagonists, at the center there will be the stories of the women and men who made the history of these lands”.
