The Group recorded a turnover of 29.6 million euros (+ 8%), 25 million euros for Carioca Italia (+ 12%). The Ebitda, an indicator of the company’s profit, also doubles, rising to 2.8 million euros. The successes of the digital channel are flanked by export results, which drive over 85% of revenues: Norway and Sweden do well, while turnover triples in Turkey, which becomes the first country for sales in the “Baby” sector.
«We are very satisfied with the results obtained – explains Enrico Toledo, president and CEO of Carioca – thanks to the vision of a company that has chosen quality as its productive, social and environmental mission. We were able to interpret the needs of the market even in a difficult and extraordinary phase that marked the whole of 2020 ».
The general manager Giorgio Bertolo echoes him: «In just two years we have doubled the turnover of the baby range and modeling pastes at an international level. Our mission is increasingly the affirmation as a leading company in the creative education of children. We will do this by engaging in continuous and conscious innovation guided by the search for new product solutions ».
