This “Specification” is based on the “Anti-Food Waste Law of the People’s Republic of China”, “Beijing Anti-Food Waste Regulations” and other relevant laws and regulations, combined with the relevant work requirements of Beijing to stop food waste. The Beijing Culinary Association, Jiahe Yipin, Meizhou Dongpo, Burger King, Wangshunge, Xiabuxiabu, Meituan and other units jointly participated. After questioning, discussion and review by the expert group, they unanimously agreed to pass the review and released for implementation.

The “Specifications” proposes to establish and improve the management system, service process and operation specifications for all aspects of food material procurement, acceptance, storage, processing and production, dining services, and takeaway delivery. Catering operators shall not participate in the production, publication, or dissemination of programs or audio-visual information that promote food waste such as overeating and overeating, so as to induce food waste.

Catering service operators should clearly state the service items and their charging standards, and must not set a minimum consumption amount, and must not induce, mislead or force consumers to over-order meals; encourage rewards or preferential treatment for consumers who implement the “CD Action”; encourage the establishment of special The civilized dining persuaders remind and persuade the behavior of over-ordering and taking meals.

The take-out service platform should prompt consumers to order meals in an on-demand manner in a conspicuous manner; catering operators should mark the meal specifications, reference portions, tastes, and recommended number of consumers on the take-out service platform, and promote small-quantity, multi-standard meals or Optional package.

Catering operators should reduce unnecessary packaging when providing take-out services, use biodegradable green packaging materials, provide tableware according to consumer demand, and avoid excessive use of disposable tableware.
