“The Board of Directors of Cattolica Assicurazioni, which met today under the chairmanship of Paolo Bedoni, resolved to call the Shareholders’ Meeting for 13 and 14 May 2021, respectively in first and second call”. This is what emerges from the note issued last night by the company.
Il Sole 24 Ore today dedicates an article to Cattolica, highlighting how “after 125 years of cooperative Cattolica it has become a spa”.
“As envisaged by the agreements with Generali, the transformation approved by the assembly in July has in fact become effective, and a prerequisite for the intervention of the Lion in the recapitalization of 500 million”.
The financial newspaper notes that Consob, “in response to two questions from Leone (Generali Assicurazioni), clarified that the Trieste group will be able to rise, with purchases on the market or as part of the 200 million increase, up to 30% of voting rights after exceeding the 25% threshold due to Cattolica’s purchase of the shares subject to withdrawal ”.
