Change at the top of Cerved. Two years after the purchase by Ion, the group specialized in the provision of financial services will see the exit of the current CEO Andrea Mignanelli and, according to what Il Sole 24Ore understands, the entry of Carlo Purassanta, current executive vice-president for strategy and development of the giant of the financier Andrea Pignataro.

Purassanta, who should play the role of executive president of Cerved, will be given the operational powers of the group. A high-profile and highly skilled manager, Purassanta has already held the role of president of Microsoft in Italy from 2013 to 2017 and in France from 2018 to 2021. Previously, the manager held top positions at IBM.

Purassanta – who will lead a leaner board where three women will sit and the CEO of Ion, Luca Peyrano (from 9 to 5 members) – will have the task of leading the group into a new phase of digital transformation after the long season led by Mignanelli , who as reported by Bloomberg will remain in Cerved as a consultant.
