Changsha maglev east extension line section opening project has entered the commissioning stage (implementing the strategy of strengthening the provincial capital to promote high-quality development and sprinting to achieve double over half in the second quarter)

Maglev Express is expected to resume operations by the end of the month

Changsha Evening News, June 18 (all media reporter Chen Huanming) On the 16th, a maglev train passed the newly inserted maglev turnout smoothly, marking that the Changsha Maglev Express Section Turnout Project officially entered the commissioning stage, and a series of commissioning and experts will be carried out in the future. The safety review work will ensure that the Changsha Maglev Express will resume operation at the end of June.

The Changsha Maglev east extension line is connected to the T3 terminal project. The total length of the line is 4.454 kilometers. There are two stations: Maglev T2 Station and Maglev T3 Station. The project is led from the Huangjin Avenue Extra Large Bridge of Changsha Maglev Express Line. It has successively completed the jacking of the turnout girder belt, and the fine adjustment of the turnout, the installation of the contact rail, the connection and testing of the communication optical cable, etc. have been carried out in an orderly manner. At the same time, all parties involved in the construction and the operating unit were organized to carry out the inspection of the safety conditions before the sports car, and rectified the suggestions one by one, including removing the construction materials in the track area, and adding safety supervisors to the construction area of the adjacent track area.

Hunan Maglev Company, as the operating unit of Changsha Maglev Express Line, focuses on the key points of construction, sticks to key points, grasps the nodes for resumption of operation, intervenes in engineering design, construction and other links in advance, and has done a good job in debugging the speed of the new opening section, investing in the safety of the entire line. Operation has laid a solid foundation.

The reporter learned that last year, the Changsha Maglev Express has achieved a speed increase across the board. The operating speed of the existing maglev trains has been increased from 100 kilometers per hour to 110 kilometers per hour. The newly purchased maglev trains are operated at 140 kilometers per hour, becoming the first in the world. A medium and low speed maglev line put into commercial operation at 140 km/h. This is another upgrade after China’s maglev technology has been transformed from laboratory to commercial application, opening up the innovation cycle from new technology to commercial application.

Focusing on the speed debugging before the resumption of operation, Hunan Maglev Company used the experience gained in the past to improve the speed, and adopted technical optimization measures such as adding damping gaskets to the contact rail system, welding and grinding intermediate joints, using seamless expansion joints, and adding protective covers. , to ensure a more stable vehicle flow, and to strengthen the shoe-rail flow stability and system operation quality.

In addition, Hunan Maglev Company focused on the inspection and adjustment of the installation accuracy of key parts such as the installation height of the contact rail surface, the height difference of the current receiving surface, the side boundary, the elbow at the end of the rail body, and the suspension fulcrum. Up to now, the contact rail fine adjustment has been completed, which further improves the current receiving stability of the contact rail system.
