Chiara Ferragni joins the board of Tod’s to win over millennials

Chiara Ferragni joins the Tod’s board of directors. For the influencer entrepreneur who has built an empire on the world of social media and fashion, it is a first. Which definitively breaks that increasingly thin wall that divided the business sector from the influencers. “Believing it to be increasingly important to deal with social commitment, solidarity towards others and sustainability in respect of the environment and dialogue with the younger generations, the Tod’s group appoints Chiara Ferragni as a member of the Board of Directors”, reads a note from the company.

Moreover, already in 2017, the influencer had been involved by Tod’s in a communication campaign that had the aim of conquering the millennials who were not very attracted to the brand. At that time the #Chiaralovestods project was born: a sort of limited edition aimed at younger consumers.
