IT House reported on January 31 that recently, China Telecom’s 5G news announced a trial commercialization, and the Maimang 10 mobile phone was fully upgraded to support 5G news.
The Maimang 10 mobile phone is 8.3mm thick and weighs 179g. It uses a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400×1080, a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and comes in three colors: Aurora Blue, Pearl White, and Obsidian Black.
In terms of configuration, Maimang 10 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, built-in 4000mAh battery, equipped with 8GB memory and 128GB storage, supports 40W fast charging, front 16MP camera, and rear 40MP+8MP+2MP triple camera.
Tang Ke, deputy general manager of China Telecom, said that 5G messaging, as an upgrade of traditional SMS, can become an important basic service for operators in 2B and 2C.
Zhang Xiaojun, deputy general manager of China Telecom Marketing Department, introduced that 5G news is divided into two categories: personal 5G news and industry 5G news. For individuals, based on mobile phone numbers, there is no need to download, and a unified entrance is provided; for enterprises, it can reduce the cost of enterprise customer acquisition and provide more comprehensive services. In terms of specific tariffs, individuals receive free of charge, and sending is consistent with the current SMS; enterprises charge separately according to different message types.
