As far as safety is concerned, there are twelve driving assistance technologies, among these we remember the recognition of road signs with speed limits, the Active Safety Brake or the automatic switching of the headlights, equipments that facilitate daily use such as the Keyless Access & Start function, Park Assist or the reversing camera with Top Rear Vision that allows you to show the rear view of the vehicle on the 9-inch Touch Pad.
Five productions
The proposed verisms include five versions: Live, Feel, Shine (the most requested), Shine pack and the new special series C-Series. The latter is offered on a Feel basis with its external customization and the exclusive internal environment with C-Series harmony, distinguished by the Deep Red color. In particular, the 3D C-Seires side badge, the Deep Red mirror caps and the insert in the same color in the lower front grille stand out on the outside. It has 16 ” X Cross diamond alloy wheels as standard and offers a free option of the Pearl Black contrast roof and the same 16 ” X Cross Full Black alloy wheels. In terms of technologies, it offers Citroën Connect Radio Dab with steering wheel controls and 6 speakers and Mirror Screen function, electric windows, automatic climate control and automatic windscreen wipers with rain sensor.
The engine range
The engine range has not changed from the one already available. This includes PureTech petrol and BlueHdi diesel, efficient and performing: PureTech 110 with 6-speed manual gearbox, PureTech 130 with Eat6 automatic transmission, BlueHDi 110 hp with six-speed manual gearbox and BlueHDi 120 with Eat6 automatic.
The road test
In the test drive we drove the Shine Pack version with 130 hp petrol engine and automatic transmission.
The driver can count on a raised seat, in pure SUV style. The new head-up display shows all information clearly and without disturbing the view of the road. The touch pad is also intuitive and easy to use, of course the touch climate is always a bit uncomfortable, but it is now an element present on all models of the brand.
