Regenerative braking allows the driver to partially recharge the battery and increase the range while driving by amplifying the deceleration of the car without pressing the brake pedal, recovering energy that would otherwise be lost.Three driving modes are available (Eco, Normal or Sport ) and are activated by the selector located in the center console.
For added peace of mind, the battery warranty is eight years or 160,000 km for 70% of the charge capacity.
We also remind you that the C4 X is available in some European countries in the thermal version with PureTech 100 petrol engine combined with manual gearbox or with PureTech 130 and Eat8 automatic gearbox. Finally, the Diesel 130 version with Eat8 automatic transmission is also available.
How to reload ë-C4 X
Charging ë-C4 X can be done at public charging stations or at home. In the latter case, Citroën offers a “one-stop shop” solution for the installation of domestic wall boxes. Vehicle charging management is easy and can be preprogrammed to take advantage of off-peak electricity prices and save on charging costs. Charging times can be preset using the car’s My Citroën Drive Plus touchscreen interface or the My Citroën app.
