Projects alongside the Associations

The initiative of Carrefour Italy, for women victims of violence. From 25 November to 31 December 2021, in all points of sale throughout the country, customers will be able to donate an amount equal to 1, 3 or 5 euros to the cashier, which will be entirely donated to WeWorld, to support career guidance paths dedicated to the most vulnerable women, with the aim of guaranteeing their autonomy and economic independence. Following the donation, a receipt will be issued which will carry the message: “If you are a victim of violence or stalking, call the anti-violence number 1522, free and active 24 hours a day”. The employees in the points of sale will wear a recognizable symbol to draw attention to the day against violence, and there will be banquets with WeWorld volunteers to interact with customers and involve them on the topic.

Serie A League, again together with WeWorld, renews its commitment by presenting the fifth edition of the #unrossoallaviolenza campaign. The world of football brings the fight against violence onto the pitch in the 14th matchday of the Serie A TIM 2021/2022: the players and referees will come down with a red sign on their faces and the captains of all the teams will wear the sash that symbolizes the day. In each stadium, the ball podium and the overhead projector for substitutions will be personalized with the initiative sticker, while the campaign spot will be broadcast on the giant screens. Among the testimonials, Alessandro Del Piero, Elisa Di Francisca, Marco Materazzi and Marta Pagnini, together with Rossella Brescia.

Women in Coffee is the project of Vergnano coffee which supports the role of women working on coffee plantations. The initiative he devised for November 25 is next to Pink telephone, in favor of female empowerment and against all types of violence. The pink van, symbol of the project, will stop in Turin in via della Rocca 19, and each espresso served will be entirely donated to support and finance the activities of Telefono Rosa.

The structures of the Korian group line up alongside the association DIRe – Women on the Net against violence: an awareness video made by DiRe will be broadcast in the offices in Italy, accompanied by an information brochure with the addresses of the anti-violence centers in the area; the guests of the centers, operators and family members will be involved in symbolically painting a bench orange, and at some structures a Wall of Dolls will be created, a permanent installation made of dolls in memory of all the victims of femicide. With over 80% of female employees, the group has created the Women’s Club since April, a dedicated team with two main objectives: to prevent violence against women and to focus on empowering female leadership.

Sorgenia finally he lines up next to Pangea Onlus Foundation, a non-profit organization that has been working since 2002 to promote the economic and social development of women, with active projects in Italy, Afghanistan and India. From 25 November it will be possible to download the ebook “Stories of reborn women” for free, which collects the stories of ten women who have taken their lives in hand to build a better future. For each download, Sorgenia will donate 1 euro to Pangea. The ten stories are also told directly by the voices of the protagonists in a podcast, which from 25 to 28 November, in Piazza Tre Torri in Milan, can be heard in a dedicated installation. A corner in which to stop and listen to the stories of those who managed to save themselves and emerge from a situation apparently with no way out. A message of hope for women victims of violence.
