Ebitda stood at 4.9 million, up +131.5 % compared to the previous year. The margins therefore improved, with an Ebitda Margin at 31 December 2021 equal to 11.5% (8.5% at 31 December 2020). The Net Financial Position is negative (net cash) for 7.2 million euros, an improvement of around 11.2 million euros compared to 31 December 2020, due to the listing on the Euronext Growth Milan market which took place on 28 July 2021.
In light of the results, the board of directors proposed an ordinary dividend of € 0.065 per share, with payment date on May 25, 2022. The dividend yield is approximately 1.59% (calculated on the closing price at December 30, 2021) while the payout ratio is approximately 35% of the company’s profit.
The trend of the first months of 2022 confirms the positive expectations for the objectives of the current year. Despite the significant increases in costs that are impacting both supplier price lists and the supply chain, Compagnia dei Caribbean believes that it can adequately protect its margins, also thanks to a timely intervention on its sales lists and an efficiency in procurement. . Regarding the global geopolitical instability caused by the armed conflict in Ukraine, the company believes that there will be no impact on the business in the medium term.
