Ā«I thank the colleagues of the Presidency Council – he explains – for the trust placed in my person. Representing the entire Lombard industry, in such a decisive historical phase for the economic and social future of our region and of Italy, is a great honor and a strong responsibility. To face the challenges and changes that await us, the peculiarities that distinguish our industry – hard work, quality, human capital, public-private collaboration, trust in young people – must continue to be our strength. These are characteristics that have made Lombard industry great and that will continue to guide us in the years to come, years that I would like to be characterized by the purest Lombard pride Ā».

Confindustria Lombardia thus confirms the choice to focus on industrialists engaged in large groups. Buzzella takes over from Marco Bonometti, number one of Officine Meccaniche Rezzatesi, one of the major automotive component manufacturers in Italy.
