At the end of the first quarter of 2021, the Credem Group achieved 90% dematerialization of internal operating processes previously based on the exchange of paper documentation. This organizational strategy contributes to the mitigation of the Group’s environmental impacts, with the goal by 2023 of reducing the use of paper and toner and cartridges for printers by 50%.
In three years, the Group has already recorded a 16% decline in the use of paper, 13% in toner and cartridges and the achievement of 92% in the use of recycled paper. Furthermore, from 2020, 100% of paper, cardboard, toner and cartridges are disposed of through recycling and Credem has announced Carbon Neutrality, i.e. the total compensation of carbon dioxide emissions by reducing emissions and purchasing certified carbon credits by 2025.
