Curti, a company controlled by the Italian multinational Euricom – has acquired the historic Riso Flora brand from the Colussi Group, which has been on the market since 1960. With its 660 million euro turnover, Euricom is the largest made in Italy rice industry, as well as one of the most important worldwide: with this acquisition it strengthens its positioning in the parboiled rice sector and will also allow Curti to increase its presence on the retail and food-service market in our country.

Just in August Euricom had signed a loan of 95 million euros with a pool of banks made up of UniCredit, Banco Bpm, Banca Popolare di Sondrio and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. The six-year operation was assisted by Sace’s Italian Guarantee and was aimed precisely at supporting the group’s growth plan.
