The National Consumers Union also intervenes on the inefficiencies that occurred on Dazn during the transmission of some matches of the first day of the Serie A championship, which today announced a complaint to both the Antitrust and the Communications Authority.
“If it is true that everything depended on an overload, who knows what will happen when all the Italians have returned from vacation or during big matches like those of next September 12, when Napoli-Juventus and Milan-Lazio will be played” says Massimiliano Dona, president of the National Consumers Union, which has decided to present two complaints, one to the Antitrust, which had closed the precautionary procedure at the end of July, but against a commitment by Dazn to provide services for viewing the matches on digital terrestrial of connection problems and a guarantee to put in place the necessary infrastructural investments, and one to the Communications Authority which since June had issued an act of guidance to avoid network congestion phenomena and prevent disservices for subscribers. “It goes without saying that all subscribers who have suffered disruptions are now entitled to fair compensation” concludes Dona.
