Delays in International Parcel Delivery by Correos de Cuba: Frustration Rises Among Customers

Delays in the delivery of international parcels by the Correos de Cuba business group have once again become a topic of concern on the island. Customers have reported significant delays in receiving their packages, with some waiting for over a month for their shipments to arrive.

One customer shared their frustration with Directorio Cubano, revealing that their package has been sitting in the Express Courier system as ‘classified’ for almost a month. Despite being listed as ‘invoiced’ and ‘on its way’ to Correos Villa Clara for 17 days, the package, sent from Spain on January 8, has yet to reach its destination. Air shipments that should normally take a month are taking significantly longer, while shipments by ship are experiencing even more prolonged delays.

Complaints against Correos de Cuba have been mounting, with customers expressing their dissatisfaction with the service. The company has attributed the delays to fuel limitations, stating that the transportation of shipments to different destinations in the country has been impacted by energy-related factors. However, customers have questioned why the company has not sought alternative transportation solutions to address the issue.

To address the concerns of customers, Correos de Cuba has advised beneficiaries to make a claim with the Customer Service Office of the Messaging Company using the code number of their shipments. They have provided contact information for customers to lodge their complaints and seek updates on their deliveries.

As frustrations continue to rise over the delayed delivery of international parcels by Correos de Cuba, customers are eager for a resolution to the ongoing issue.
