Digital Innovation Hub Lombardia, click towards SMEs

by admin

First positive results and an even more ambitious strategic plan. The meeting held on June 24 summed up the activities carried out by the Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) Lombardia from its birth to today. With over 400 digital maturity assessments carried out at Lombardy SMEs, the structure is the national leader, taking into account that the entire network of Confindustria hubs has carried out over 1500 assessments.

Four supply chain projects that involved the Lombardy DIH in assessing the digital maturity of companies (including Ansaldo Energia, the Como Filo D’Oro supply chain and for ABB and Leonardo suppliers) and other projects are already in the pipeline with new suppliers of ABB and Leonardo in addition to the supply chain project with Hitachi Rail Italy led by DIH Campania which sees the involvement of two Lombard companies.

In addition, to meet the needs of companies, the Confindustria DIH network has signed an agreement with Federmanager which provides for the commitment of specialized managers serving the territory for the assessment of digital maturity. Two projects have been activated: the AMa-DIH Project at a national level, and the SME Development Project at a regional level in Lombardy.

«The intuition of Confindustria to give life to the network of Digital Innovation Hubs – explains the President of the Lombardy DIH Gianluigi Viscardi – acquires today, after three years, an even more strategic importance. In fact, Digital Innovation Hubs represent a key tool for bringing the digital transition envisaged by the PNRR into SMEs in a concrete, effective and personalized way. The continuous growth of requests for support and the results achieved by the Lombardy DIH show that the cultural transition is underway in companies, and Lombardy is the leader ».

During the meeting, the strategic plan for the next three years was presented, which envisages new services to be developed along four lines of action: awareness of the importance of digital transformation; definition of digital transformation and internationalization plans; meeting between supply and demand in the innovation ecosystem; supervision of the European level for new opportunities for SMEs.
