Edison for energy saving in buildings

by admin

Edison joins forces with Enerbrain, a young Turin-based company specializing in solutions for the intelligent use of energy. The two companies jointly launch a digital solution to achieve energy savings of up to 30% in industrial and tertiary buildings.

Currently about 40% of national energy consumption is attributable to buildings, of which more than half is related to air conditioning. Their optimization, explains Edison, “is therefore of strategic importance for the development of the country and the competitiveness of Italian companies”. It is with this system ambition, as well as to be of help to individual users, that Edison has developed an artificial intelligence system with Enerbrain to manage air conditioning both in summer and in winter; the device is called Hvac Optimizer.
