by admin

The Edison group acquires from the company Renergetica the two vehicle companies Ren 143 srl and Ren 144 srl, holders of the authorizations to build two photovoltaic plants, with a total power exceeding 16 MWp, in the province of Alessandria.

The two plants to be built are the first under the framework agreement signed in April 2020 for the overall development of 250 MWp in five years.

The transaction represents for Edison the continuation of its growth plan in the photovoltaic sector. Marco Stangalino, Edison’s executive vice president of Power Asset, says: “For us it is a further concrete step in the installation of new photovoltaic capacity to be used for the country and its energy transition. The strategic plan aims to reach 4 GW installed of wind and photovoltaic renewables by 2030, starting from the current 1.1 GW ”.
