Electricity and gas, from January it will be easier to compare bills

Bills simpler to read and above all easier to compare. The authority of the energy sector Arera has announced important innovations that will become operational from January 2023.

From the new year, the bill will therefore be enriched with some useful information that, until now, the consumer had to obtain for himself by going through the old bills.

• The first novelty is the introduction of the “annual consumption” item, relating to the last 12 months;
• The other new item is that of “annual expenditure incurred”, also relating to the last 12 months;
• The “offer code” will also be indicated on the bill, an identification number that will be used to easily trace all the information on your current offer.
