Electrolux, in Susegana agreement on productivity and 110 million investments

The household appliance multinational Electrolux and the unions have reached an agreement for the reorganization of work and the improvement of productivity at the Susegana site. An agreement considered essential to unlock an investment package for 110 million, between now and 2026.

The agreement provides for a production rate of 108 refrigerators per hour, against the current 94 and the 120 that Electrolux had instead set as a target for the unions. Among other things, the installation on the lines of “pacers” is envisaged, ie devices which regulate the pace of processing of each individual piece in the assembly line, not allowing it to pass to the next step before the expiry of the interval. The new regime will be applied once the investment is completed, ie when the “Genesi” plant will be equipped with a third line and 62 new employees will be hired on permanent contracts, including workers and technicians.
