Emirates is the first airline to use the International Air Transport Association’s IATA Travel Pass across six continents as it distributes this digital health pass to customers in all destinations. Currently available to Emirates customers traveling from 50 cities, full rollout to all over 120 Emirates destinations is expected to be completed by October.
The main features of the IATA Travel Pass are:
– Archive of the latest travel requirements – allows passengers to find accurate information on travel requirements, tests and vaccines for their trip;
– Test Point Log: Allows passengers to access certified COVID-19 test centers at the place of departure that meet the requirements of their destination;
– digital documentation: the app allows passengers to manage their travel documentation in digital format.
Qatar Airways will launch scheduled flights to Almaty, Kazakhstan, starting November 19. The new service will be operated by an Airbus A320, with 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class.
This service will allow passengers flying to and from Almaty to enjoy seamless connectivity to over 140 destinations, via Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
Kazakhstan is an economic powerhouse in Central Asia and on a tourist level offers landscapes ranging from snow-capped mountains to deserts, rocky canyons, coniferous forests and river deltas, as well as historic monuments such as the bright yellow towers of the Zenkov Cathedral in the capital Almaty.
Ukraine International Airlines strengthens its presence on the Italian market. After the success of the Milan Malpensa flight, the operation for Rome Fiumicino also resumes. Starting from 31 October 2021 the operation will restart from Rome with connections for Odessa (ODS), Yerevan (EVN), Tel Aviv (TLV), Tbilisi (TBS), Chisinau (KIV), Cairo (CAI), Baku (GYD) , Dubai (DXB). Cities reachable from Italy via Kiev (or rather Kyiv, in Ukrainian language): Yerevan (EVN), Vilnius (VNO), Cairo (CAI), Tbilisi (TBS), Baku (GYD), Tel Aviv (TLV), Chisinau (KIV), Larnaca (LCA), Delhi (DEL).
