Equita makes sure that the company led by Francesco Starace has a good degree of exposure to the issues of the utilities sector and in particular to the growth of renewable capacity (both Italy and abroad), to the dynamics of the PNRR for investments in electricity grids, digitalization, the gigafactory for solar panels, as well as the buliding renovation and energy saving and the trend in power prices for hydroelectric and renewable productions.
In the first months of the year, Enel discounted the negative trend of retail margins (on long positions) and of the currencies that we believe will gradually dilute during the second half of the year. Experts expect a quarterly report with confirmation of the guidance for the year and raise the Ebitda estimates by + 1% in the period 2022-2024 and the target price to € 9.4ps (+ 1%).
