Enel opens the development plan created for suppliers to 6 thousand companies

by admin

Enel opens the “Supplier Development Program” to over 6,000 companies in Italy, the program launched in 2020 to support the growth path of its suppliers and, at the same time, contribute to the achievement of the Group’s strategic objectives. Enel thus contributes to the development of the supply chain and the competitiveness of suppliers in line with its objectives and values, with particular attention to sustainability, circularity and digitalisation. Suppliers play a crucial role in achieving the objectives linked to the energy transition, which is why Enel is increasingly paying attention to their growth.

“The great challenge of the energy transition necessarily also involves our suppliers without whom the achievement of the decarbonisation objectives, through the growth of renewable energies, the digitization of networks and the electrification of consumption, would not be possible” says Alda Paola Baldi responsible procurement Enel Italy.

“With the expansion of the Supplier development program, we want to accompany a greater number of companies that work with us towards sustainable growth capable of increasing their competitiveness and efficiency and at the same time contributing to the creation of value for the communities in which they operate and to the economic restart of the country in line with the Recovery policies approved by the European Union »adds the Enel manager.

The Program is aimed at companies, with headquarters or branch in Italy, qualified or at an advanced stage of qualification in the register of Enel suppliers, and with a production value of up to 250 million, paying particular attention to SMEs.
